Gamers can play alone, go against a friend in local action, or head online for multiplayer racing for up to 12.<br><br>MotoGP 14 offers a variety of game modes, including Grand Prix, Online Grand Prix, Championship, Online Championship, and Sprint Season, in which players attempt to climb from Moto3 to MotoGP in a single year. Burning my money would have been less frustrating and more fun.
Just the facts with some colour; 1.) The engines sound much more akin to anemic nasally 1/10 Nitro RC cars than any actual real world full size motor bike. Like cheap weed whackers at best. 2.) The load times and interface are.......pitiful........ s-l-o-w-. Take a patience pill, bake a cake, write a book and suffer folks. It's worse than any old PC game. 3.) The controls themselves are awful, twitchy-twitchy and exponentially imprecise, w/ no sensitivity adjustment at all........ the rider just dumps his weight too damn quickly, the bikes will not power correct themselves either, whilst the PC games were far easier to pilot w/a tried and true 'keyboard arrow set-up' than the X-box controller here with in this half-fast wanna be bike game. The Graphics are totally on par w/ any forgettable Sega Dreamcast game from 1999. Yes 1999 folks. Metropolis Street Racer 2, Sega Rally, F1, look every bit as current as this blocky drivel. Bikeswill inadvertently and frequently lose their shadows and appear to float magically. Pavement and riders themselves lack any real-world texture detail reflections and or character. Collision detection is inconsistent and the rider spills are laughable. Lame and sad. 5.) The usable Camera angles are limited to a whopping total of 4. Yep, 1,2,3,4. The helmet view offered is just worthless. While in older versions of the MOTOGP series there were between 8-11 usable riding views including height trajectory and angle. Here in GP14 you are just blissfully visually screwed. 6.) The vintage PC versions from MOTOGP; 3,4,7,8 & 9 are graphically far prettier even with a dreaded econo laptop Radeon card, they load faster, feature very cool (and here strangely notably absent) outfit & personal bike customizing options, neat hidden old skool arcade mini-games, and various time killing challenges. No extras here kids. 7.) This game absolutely %100 BLOWS. I currently have two heavily modified CBRs in my garage- there is nothing remotely realistic or dare I say FUN in this sorry game to remind me of my personal zips. MOTOGP14 for Xbox 360 is an Unfun & Unrealistic pathetic joke, a bad (at least) $20 joke at that. Look elsewhere for your 2 wheel thrills people. 8.)There isn't ONE redeeming quality to be spoken about this game. I simply gave my disc to a co-workers younger brother, and without warning it found its way into my mailbox 3 days later. Just awful.
