If you like to read Star Trek Deep Space Nine, you'll like this. It involves mostly Kira, Jadzia Dax, Bashir, Sisko, Jake, and Odo. It keeps you engaged and wondering where it is going. The ending and solution is not a very good one, but finishes well. It uses holosuites and CI (Cortical Induction) Modules to transport people into a imaginary world which seem so real. McHogue is the proponent of this and is planning to build one on Bajor. This causes a big uproar and Kira is removed from active duty. Not to tell you too much, but she ends up on Bajor in this new place that McHogue builds.
