Strobe LED tail lights are the way to go! You have to add a 6 ohm 50w resistor in circuit with each of these LED bulbs to make the turn and emergency blinker circuits to work. You may need to down load the wiring diagram of your vehicle to figure out how to wire in the resistor for each LED bulb. I mounted the resistor to the frame underneath and ran the wires to the bulb. On my 1995 Ford F-150, wire one end to the black wire and the other to the colored/strip wire. Do not touch the brown wire.
