"Bring 'Em Bach Alive" is a strong debut from Sebastian Bach as a solo artist. This proves that he does not need to be in the group Skid Row to create good music. The album is a mixture of new songs and a live show from Tokyo in 1998. The majority of it is live. The album starts with 5 brand new studio recordings produced by Michael Wagener. This is the same producer of "Skid Row" (1988), the debut album, as well as "Slave to the Grind" (1991). These 5 songs are all awesome, and are why I even bought the cd. It's a good mixture mood/feel, as their is one slow song "Superjerk, Superstar, Supertears" while the other 4 have lots of energy. If the whole cd was filled with songs like this it would be flawless. The remaining 11 songs are live, with all the hits from Skid Row's first two albums. I'm not a fan of live albums, so that's why I can't say this is a perfect release. Rating: 8/10 Overall: If you like Sebastian Bach and/or Skid Row, you need this. It doesn't get much attention, which is a shame, because it has some incredible songs. You won't be disappointed.Read full review

Since Sebastian Bach is my favorite artist of all time, I am partial to this cd... I would say all the songs are good and most of them are GREAT!! If you like/love Sebastian Bach or just want to hear some 'ROCKIN' Stuff I would say buy this cd.. The Live stuff on this cd KICKS ASS!!!
As a Skid Row/Sebastian Bach fan, I really enjoyed this CD. Along with old songs (such as 18 and life, youth gone wild, and I remember you) there are some new songs that are just as good.
Know this music/cd and Baz rocks!!! Must have for any fan along with the dvd which I just bought. :) *****
This is Sebastian Bach and his "friends", a few years after he left Skid Row. The album is a combination of studio recordings and live concert recordings. The studio recordings are not that great, lyrically that is, but the live recordings are awesome. Recorded live in Tokyo, Sebastian sings some of the best versions of 18 & Life and I Remember you that I've ever heard. In all, you'll probably only ever listen to half of the album. But i think it's well worth it. If you're a die hard Sebastian fan like myself, you should buy this album. It's becoming hard to find.
