Works with tuning.
Advertised as a 9 inch tire and wheel. Not quite. Measures 8 5/8s inch. If you are replacing a 9 inch wheel tire assembly on small lawn care aerators or seeders you MAY have to modify the hole where the axle passes through, both for axle size and maybe axle length. It is fairly easy to fab up a spacer and insert it into the plastic wheel. Also, it may be necessary to shorten the plastic axle hub itself or you may have to buy a longer bolt. Its close to what i needed to repair a damaged wheel/tire assembly, and as time goes by i just assume i will be modifying or customizing items that are purchased online. Good enough for my purpose.
I bought the wheels for the tires. My Snapper tires had split. These are not exactly the same outside diameter but the inside diameter is perfect. I was able to pry the tires off and put them on my rims. The old rims were keyed for a driving axle, which is why I had to switch them. The tires are a little smaller but they still work on this mower. I just had to raise the cutting height of the deck.I bought the wheels for the tires. My Snapper tires had split.
