Price, quality and mileage hard to beat. Have had good luck with Shinko tires. All I have used on my ctx1300 since replacing the originals.

This brand of tire is really inexpensive, however their performance is nominal. I purchased the rear tire from the same place. The business was great to deal with & had great prices. The front tire took a couple hundred miles to "break in." It felt like it was very squirrely until I had run it for a while.

I removed my OEM tires @ 12,000 miles on my Honda F6B, and replaced them with this Shinko Journey touring tire. The tire balanced pretty good on the wheel, and the quality of manufacture appears to be top notch. I inspected the interior as well as around the bead for any imperfections and found none. A smoother riding tire, it does make a little more noise below 30 miles per hour that I think is due to the tread design. My take on this tire - how long will it last? If I get 12,000 miles on this tire, I will buy another, else I am going to spend more and buy the Dunlop Elite4 series.

I had a rear tire that showed a premature failure in the making. I made numerous pleas to local Shinko dealer, and no response return calls from Shinko corporate. Called Chaparral and I had the people there respond satisfactorily within an hour. I honestly could not believe it. That’s why I am buying again with them, and tell my friends to do likewise. The tires have given me just as much life as others at a much higher price.
