Whilst his colleagues were in the townships fighting riots, Stander turned to a life of crime, robbing banks in the morning and turning up to investigate the crimes in the afternoon! After two years he was finally apprehended, however whilst in jail, he met Allan Hayl (David O'Hara) and Les McCall (Dexter Fletcher), two career criminals. Together they hatched a plan which would turn them into the most wanted me in the country and led to a three year chase across the continent all the way to the United States.
