About this product

Product Information

Every 5,000 years, a door opens between the dimensions. In one dimension lies the universe and all of its multitude of varied life forms. In another exists an element made not of earth, air, fire or water, but anti-energy, anti-life. This thing, this darkness, waits patiently at the threshold of the universe for an opportunity to extinguish all life and all light. Every 5,000 years, the universe needs a hero, and in New York City of the 23rd Century, a good hero is hard to find. The film stars Bruce Willis, Gary Oldman, Ian Holm and Milla Jovovich.

Quick communication with my questions. Bought over 40 Steelers sticker cards from the 80's and all in great condition just as pictured. Packaging was nice to prevent damage. Will definitely buy from this seller again. 5 STARS !

  • Stick with the film.

I, a zealous collector and champion of film novelizations, have to confess I didn't really like this one. I typically look to such books to provide backstory and names to characters that are given none in the film. Terry Bisson's quite mediocre-to-awful attempt at novelizing Luc Besson's fantastic science fiction film is, like Nathan Elliott's attempt at novelizing Innerspace, a sad example of a tie-in novel where absolutely zero effort was put forth by the author. I'll give an example. In the film, people who come into close contact with the Dark Planet (a.k.a. "Mr. Shadow") mysteriously have some kind of black slime ooze down their foreheads. It happens twice, first to General Staedert at the beginning and later also to Zorg when he's on the phone with "Mr. Shadow." This phenomenon is ...
