  • Meet God's obvious but less defined side. Wow!!

Amazing! I see why Boice quotes from it! The concept of God's holiness in terms of the numinous and how it works is fascinating. It explains so much about our/my religious experiences. And it spurs you on to want to add to the study of God's holiness as it affects us. Somewhat thick reading at first but then it flies!! Fascinating from a brilliant scholar in the late 1920's on the cusp of the Second World War. Highly recommend it for anyone seeking the Lord through Jesus Christ, and for that matter, comparing a Judeo-Christian faith with other religions. Fascinating and hard to put down!!!

  • A great bok!

This is a must read for anyone interested in probing the philosophy of religion. Written by Rudolf Otto, who had a brilliant mind, was well-versed in science and faith, and could express his ideas beautifully.
