The LEGO Group caters to minifigure fans by refreshing their designs almost every year. In September 2013, LEGO released their Minifigures Series 11, and the minfigures in this series are compatible with all LEGO bricks and sets. There's nothing mini about this action-packed LEGO series, however. Inspired by movies, sports, history, and everyday life, this collection includes a Lady Scientist, Lady Robot, and Evil Mechanic. Series 11 also consists of a slick Jazz Musician, Holiday Elf, Constable, Bavarian Lady, Yeti, and Diner Waitress. A Tiki Warrior, Scarecrow, Barbarian, Welder, Mountain Climber, Grandma, and Gingerbread Man round out the series. The LEGO Minifigures Series 11 Random Bag (71002) allows you to bring the LEGO Movie to life or make up your own story starring your favorite LEGO minifigures. The only limit is your imagination. Each LEGO minifigure is packaged individually in a sealed mystery bag with its own special accessories, display plate, and collector booklet. A LEGO minifigure bag typically consists of about 10 pieces, and minimal assembly of Series 11 minifigures is required. For instance, you need to snap the Barbarian's black hair onto his head and secure a sword in each hand. Some minifigures, such as the Holiday Elf, are accompanied by larger, stand-alone accessories. The smiling elf is packed with a replica teddy bear and LEGO-brick holiday gift. Most Series 11 minifigures are molded with LEGO's trademark yellow skin tone, except for the Scarecrow, Robot, and Evil Mechanic.LEGO fans trade and collect the 16 special characters in the LEGO Minifigures Series 11 Random Bag (71002). Minifigures delight collectors of all ages thanks to their thoughtful and fun details. The individual bags make great party favors or carnival prizes, and opening the mystery bag reveals an exciting surprise. You may end up with the popular bespectacled Female Scientist or the Bavarian Lady, who comes complete with a LEGO pretzel accessory. The LEGO Series 11 Jazz Musician minifigure looks slick in a black fedora, and he carries his trusty saxophone. Grandma comes with a textured basket and gray kitty, while the Tiki Warrior is laden with mask and spear. The '50s-style Diner Waitress minifigure carries a large tray bearing a plastic ice cream sundae. This product is appropriate for ages 5 and up. Each individual bag contains one collectible minifigure. Keep them in collectible condition by placing your Series 11 minifigures in a clear LEGO display case.
