Two small issues were that the item didn’t come with a tax invoice for the full Australian manufacturers warranty that was outlined in the listing. The seller said I could return the item or they would get invoice from Amazon but then stopped replying to communication. Other issue was the package was sent as no signature required and authority to leave which for $1k+ item was risky but I got it thankfully.

Simply amazing!
When I first got it these headphones, I was at worked and tried them out with my phone... the sound was clean and accurate but I was disappointed... I didn't get the wow affect that I was hoping for... Later when I got home, I tried them out with my computer (having a high quality creative sound card with amplifier).... I shed some tears.... it was beautiful! My points are two: 1. These are some great headphones 2. General: Nice headphones, comfortable, nice padding, I cannot tell the difference between the X2 and the X2HR. May be I am not good enough. If you have X2, no need to update. There is no upgrade. Pos: Good sound stage. Nice sound quality for the money which cannot complain. Cons: Philips should not fold the cable. Curl the cable will be a better way to do it. Did not mention the recommended direction of the cable. Did not come with storage box or bag. Philips Fidelio X2HR bargain!
I’ve had a lot of headphones over the years including some that cost north of $1000.00 and these X2HR cans are right up there with the best. Now don’t get me wrong, there are plenty of headphones out there that are better but for $220.00 delivered you simply can’t beat them. A word of caution. They are open backed headphones so they are ideal for listening to music at home in a quiet environment but don’t buy them if you are looking for isolation from your environment. Love these cans Came Australia to canada with no issues, perfect condition. Have yet to hear a pair of headphones that are more fun. Open back with no sound pressure yet punchy bass and great highs.
