The product is good and the show is very entertaining but when I bought this dvd I forgot when I first watch the show it didn't have the spazzes the original show had the songs is boring and the story line isn't interesting as the original. Josie and the Pussy Cats. Of course it was good to see some of my favorite charters in a new show but all in all the show wasn't bad but on the other hand it wasn't all that good. As I said earlier the theme song was the best part of the cartoon.

I loved watching this cartoon as a young child in the 70s (dating myself) but I was surprised Hanna-Barbera (and Warner Brothers) released this compilation without remastering them first. Did they lose the masters? The episodes look like they may have been pulled from VHS tapes which surprised me as a product from a fortune 500 corporation. Either way, it's still watchable and to see how bad 70s animation/story writing was back then. Don't get me wrong. I LOVE Josie and the gang (especially Melody who was/is my childhood crush.) I bought this so I could share them with my kids. They may have made these on a tight budget and all, but they still have great moral values and don't have all the snarky attitude of today's cartoons (with the exception of Alexandra... boy, why didn't they just leave her on a planet, heh.)Read full review

I recently got Josie & the Pussycats on DVD and had hoped that one day they would release the Pussycats in Outer Space. I can't remember watching it when it was first on, but I always knew of it. And in middle school it used to be on in the mornings on channel 11 out of New York(before we had cable) Watching it now is just as great as watching it then! Sure the animation isn't great. But that was the way it was back then- when saturday morning cartoons weren't all this Anime crap! The color on the cover is a little off, and the DVD menu is boring, no extras, but this was put out by Warner Brothers as a "made to order" dvd. So I'm just happy it was available. Great piece of cartoon nostalgia from the 70's! I plan to buy a bunch more of these Hanna Barbera Classic Collections!Read full review
