Shipped quickly & nicely packaged! I really appreciate the eye for detail in regards to condition- the books’s binding flaw was clearly pointed out in the listing & arrived in the same condition as stated, so it should be easy for me to repair with supplies I have on hand. I have a little collection of Halloween price guides as art inspiration/history appreciation, & have been looking for an affordable copy of this one! Also loved the lil’ Halloween-y doodle on the box. ;) Thank you!!!

  • ME & JOHN WATERS, A DATE? VALENTINE'S DAY 2007

    1) Tonight You Belong to Me: by Patience and Prudence 1956 starts off this "Parental Advisory-Explicit Content" "raunchy & beautifully alarming" typical beyond the edge John Waters Valentine's 2007 CD, with a one night stand song. 2)Jet Boy Jet Girl: by Elton Motello 1978 switches the mood from bubble gum to riot girl boy sounds "he gives me head," "I'm going to make him a girl"...you bad boy, Mr. Waters. 3)Ain't Got No Home: by Clarence "Frogman" Henry 1956 He sings like a woman & like a frog voice: gender bender obnoxio. 4)I'd Love to Take Orders From You: by Mildred Bailey & Her Swing Band 1935 sounds like the "Boogey Woogey Bugle Boy" at first, then breaks into confessions of wanton desires for domination with sexual connotations--"you blow the bugle & I'll jump through cuz I just ...

  • A must for Waters fans.

Really, this is a must for any real Waters fan. The music is completely typical of that of his films... a weird mix of obsura which includes odd novelty, a little bit of 'billy and bluesey numbers, and those sickeningly sappy songs that he likes to juxdapose with disturbing scenes. There is even Eddie singing "Big Girls Don't Cry", and a number by Mink Stole which sounds pretty good and professional. Honestly, it's worth it for the liner notes alone.
