I am impressed with the Chamberlain Garage Door Wireless Keypad. It was easy to program and install. My garage door opener has the purple program button - all I had to do to program was follow the steps listed under the remote's cover. Then I mounted the unit outside. Now we can walk out the door and close the garage with a push of the enter key or enter by typing the code and pressing enter.

Works fie, but the cover will soon break off if someone pushes too hard thwn it is in the use position ie lifted upewardws. I have had 3 of these types for another opener maker and they alo broke. The slide up to uncover the keypad is the besst.

I replaced a 20 yr. old garage door opener. i added this open box remote keypad mounted on the side of the door frame. It was a fairly easy job to mount and program the new code. No wires to run. Just follow the instructions on the keypad. It works perfectly and Ebay saved me some money. Good seller. Shipped fast. Doesn't get any better! My opinion is Chamberlin (Lift Master, Craftsman) makes the best product. Replaced a Genie unit that wouldn't hold the door position setting and was impossible to fix,

After over 10 years of sun, wind and weather, my original keypad died. I soon learned what an inconvenience not having an outdoor keypad was, and looked for a replacement. Found this product on eBay which is an exact duplicate of the keypad I had before at a GREAT price and ordered it. It took all of 30 seconds to program it and install it where my previous keypad unit had been, works PERFECT and absolutely NO HASSLE!

This wireless keypad is extremely to install and is ready to operate within minutes. Excellent value. My only caution is that the unit maintains the code number in its memory for a period of time after use. Because I am aware of this issue, I encourage users to enter several 0's at the end of opening/closing the garage door which obviously changes the input code. This provides protection from entrance by unauthorized persons. This is the 3rd unit of this type I have purchased for various locations, so I am very satisfied with its operation.

This worked very well! It was compatible with my red/orange light Craftsman Garage Door opener, and I got it to work in less than 15 seconds! It is quite durable, and has a great flip cover that protects the pressing keys inside. The pressing keys are firm, not soft like my original one, so they appear to work much better than the older model.

This was a birthday present for my husband. We have always had a keyless entry pad for one of our garage doors, but never the other. It was quick to install, easy to program and works great. He was thrilled with it. Our garage door opener was many years old so I was worried this wouldn't be compatible, but it works great.

This was a replacement for my 22 year old keypad that no longer worked. It was easy to program and works flawlessly with my Chamberlain Whisper drive door opener. I like the fact that it uses a 9 volt battery that can be purchased most anywhere. My old unit had a specialized battery that was a bit tougher to find when needed. Time will tell if battery life is equal, better or worse. The flip up cover feels light, but hopefully will hold up well for a long time. Overall I would recommend this keypad.

Writing this as a "heads up" to other people. Bought it to replace one that was exactly the same, but had become inconsistent, probably just due to heavy use over many years. As a temporary solution: we had already changed codes in the past, and for awhile that worked because we were switching to buttons that had not been used before. Be aware that there seems to be a typo in the manufacturer's programming directions. At step six it reads "... then press and release the ENTER button until the garage door opener lights flash ..... " I found that it should have read: ... then press and HOLD the ENTER button until the garage door opener lights flash ..... Or another way it could have been worded would be ..... then press but DO NOT release the ENTER button until the garage door opener lights flash ...... Until I realized this error in the words, I could not program it. My instructions had copyright 2017 on them. And document number 114A5044C. FYI, my garage door opener is the variety that has the yellow colored learn button. (This will mean something to you when you read the programming directions). Perhaps it is different for other varieties of openers. Read full review

It was time to replace my older Chamberlain keypad, and I didn't like the older model cover which slid up and down (usually off!) and wanted a flip cover. The instructions to link to the garage door opener (purple button) were right on and I had no trouble linking the remote keypad to the opener. Still there is room for improvement with this model. It's plastic cover uses plastic hinges which will break off over time, and I intend to gentley flip the cover open to make it last. Also the mounting screws were much too long since I have to drill into a concrete stucco for each screw. The top screw is used as a hinge and not tightened down, like the back of a clock. I think there should be a mounting hole in the plastic case for both the top and bottom to mount the keypad. If the plastic holds up this should last at least 10 years.Read full review
