I'm sorry for your disappointment, I will use your feedback to try and improve on description practices. As far as shipping costs, packing material costs aside the rates are based around what Canada Post charges, and unfortunately Canada Post's rates are not the greatest, even for us Canadians when it comes to domestic parcel rates.
