Icy Dock EZ-FIT PRO MB082SP Just what I need!
This is a great docking drive bay for your hard drive slots bay if your case is used for a larger hard drive in the bay of the PC case. I do think it should be cheaper in price. Although it's made for an 3.5" docking hard drive bays for to hold a smaller two hard drive that are able to be place over in the slot of a larger hard drive slot. The Icy Dock has a two slots for to used of SSD, or a smaller HDD or a small Hybrid HDD/SSD drive that are made to fit in 2.5" slots. The slots are for to used two 2.5" hard drive and they are screw less design for to used everyday to pullout a SSD or smaller 2.5 Hard drive from a 3.5 hard drive bay but you do need to screw the icy dock onto the 3.5" bay. It does have the spring loaded on the slots on the backside of the bay for the drive to be east of ... This is a great upgrade if needed inside a larger computer PC case. I added two cut outs sticky back felts that are about an 1/16 of a inch thick from a felts and they are used for a very thin SSD drive to be able to get a perfect fit on the slot of the Icy Dock, for example...The Samsung 840 Pro is a lot thinner than most SSD drives. It sure will go up and down and side to side or wobble the hard drive that are not well tight fit for a smaller thinner SSD or HDD or some shorter drives I am sure you could put a shorter drive in there but the spring will for not allowed for you to have a spring loaded pushed out for you to get the drive out, might have to have the short SSD to be able to be pulled out. I have three Icy Dock easy fit pro in my case of Rosewill Blackhawk Ultra for to have 6 RAID 0 SSD drives in my workstation and these Icy Dock drive bays save me rooms for two drive of from a one slot bay for a hard drive. Highly recommended though.
