Channel 4's late night home-made bedroom sketch show stars the eponymous Adam and Joe. From what was purported to be their bedsit in Brixton, London, come a series of satirical camcorder skits on modern life and popular culture. An irreverent series, THE ADAM AND JOE SHOW was renowned for its concise and hilarious spoofs of films where stuffed toys and action figures portrayed the characters. The spoofs included TITANTIC, SHOWGIRLS and THE ENGLISH PATIENT, as well as television shows such as ER and FRIENDS. The duoÆs unique brand of humour helped create a strong cult following. The release contains selected sketches from four series of THE ADAM AND JOE SHOW.
