I used it on the case for a quick test and it didn't disappoint. Will give it a real test when I repair my car bumper hopefully it wont melt through it though (first time using one of these). But for the price of like 20 dollars this is FANTASTIC, the tool itself doesnt get hot but only the staple you insert into it so very safe.
