    Follow the Instructions

    I purchased this product in an attempt to fix a high pressure hydraulic leak in the bucket-control of an old tractor. The first couple of attempts were failures, but when I followed the instructions for this type of repair {i.e., (1) overlap the damaged/leaking area by 2 to 3 inches on each side, (2) make 5 + wraps of tape (I ended up making seven layers) and (3) overlap each layer by 50%} then my repair held. Not sure how long this will last, but I've got about 8 hours on the tractor after the repair and all is well so far. Not as good as brazing the leak, I'm sure, but this did the job I needed to have done. One thing not covered in the instructions: the end of the tape tends to come loose (it doesn't stick well with no pressure on top of it) so I wraped the end with electrical ...

    Good for hiding wires and harnesses

    Looks better than electrical tape and easier to wrap around bulky plastic harnesses and Bundles of wire. Very easy to remove when you need to get back to the harnesses because there is no adhesive
