Unbelievable crisp sound!
I shop a lot before I ordered this. Our house was built in 1899 and the basement where we put this, has granite rock walls which are beautiful and we don't want to put holes in them. I wanted to order the home theater sound system but I went with this instead because I can't hang speakers on the wall but still wanted to and amazing sound system. I shopped a lot but in the end comma I always know I can count on Bose for the utmost quality and sound. I was not disappointed with this. We have a very large basement and this is unbelievable! Bose 520 System
Very pleased with all parts of the Bose 520 system. Had an issue in set up and Bose Tech Support was very helpful - that is the good news the bad news is that there was a rather long wait to be able to talk to someone - but once on the phone I did not feel rushed and they spent more time than I would have expected with my situation. Was torn between between purchasing individual components and "building" my own 5.1 system but opted to go with the Bose - very happy I made that choice. Very pleased with the system. One minoe negative is the cost of the speaker mounting brackets (though they are very slick) at $34.95 each (and I required 5 of them) is a tad pricey. Bose does it again!
Excellent sound for the size, and very flexible in adding additional speakers to the system. I paid $700, but just saw it at Best Buy's for $599.00! It has been discontinued in lieu of the 130 series, but all the add ones are the same. Don't hesitate to buy it. Only thing. I would caution one on is the sound bar cable, it's thick! If you mount this on the wall under your tv, I would advise looking at an alternative as it's next to impossible and would be very expensive to have done.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
