    Lionel 1615....Fun and Great looking sturdy engine!

    Been into 0 gauge for about 35 years had many layouts and many Lionel trains never had this one I never realized so much fun and almost looks prototypical! People knock this engine that are Lionel fans but if you keep your hand on the throttle you can run this train scale speeds and it looks super it is super strong and durable! It's now my favorite Lionel engine the Lionel 1615!

    Steam Switcher & Tender

    Nice little steamer works fairly well on my setup using old reclaimed super o tracks and switches, which for this engine makes for interesting ride. The wheel base is short, so all the bumps and jerks are experienced by this speedy little engine. The tender is light and hard to keep on track at times ( adding weight to the inside of body will help)), otherwise it's a decent item - so far. No whistle or horn with items.
