Synopsis
Its user-friendly approach and straightforward slant, patterned on professional literature, gives students a comprehensive look at the discipline and introduces them to such exciting topics as bioinorganic chemistry and solid state chemistry. The fourth edition of Inorganic Chemistry: Principles of Structure and Reacitvity contains rewritten chapters throughout, with expanded coverage of symmetry and group theory and related areas such as spectroscopy and crystallography. Reorganized chapters on bonding, coordination chemistry and organometallic chemistry are included, along with a more in-depth look at solid-state chemistry and other hot topics. Abundant pedagogy, such as illustrations and problems, complements the text's coverage., This edition contains rewritten chapters throughout, with expanded coverage of symmetry and group theory and related areas such as spectroscopy and crystallography. Purchased and quickly cancelled order. The seller monitors messages and cancelled the order before it shipped with a full refund. Honest seller, good prices, and excellent customer service. I would reconsider purchasing from this seller. A++

Unfortunately the book I received was in bad shape and was a different edition than was shown in the listing, however, my experience with the seller was excellent! I reached out requesting a refund and very quickly received a very professional and friendly reply and an immediate refund. Based on this experience I would recommend buying from this seller!

Book lacked dustcover (which is okay for good but not mentioned in the listing, which showed a dust cover) but had stickers that would not come off on the actual cover of the book (which is not okay) - careless damage that could have been avoided. However, the seller proactively refunded me without my asking, which I hadn t expected. They clearly care about customer service and doing a good job. They ve earned my trust and another chance.

  • A well written chemistry text

It's a text book, so I'm not sure "compelling" is the right word. It's very well written, however, and the 2nd edition was my college text, long gone, so I decided to pick up a much more recent copy.
