Packaging was super secure, the pen was wrapped inside the velvet box, which was wrapped with a cardboard sleeve, which was wrapped in tape, and then in a padded envelope. The T-1 was as described, just like the photos. It was an incredible value, I have seen the same fountain pen in worse condition selling for more money. My favorite seller on eBay! A+++
