Adaptable coverage for temperature changes.
I live in Texas, where the temperature can change greatly in a short amount of time. Being able to put the ear flaps up or down and having a face mask instantly available are great features.

Carhartt winter hat
Best winter hat I've had in about 5 years. It keeps my head and ears warm even in Sub zero weather. It doesn't ride up on my head and the tuck away face shield is a nice bonus. I think because it is a Carhartt brand hat it should give me years of quality usage.
