    Nickel Strings Are Nice.

    These Strings Are Very Different Than Most...Give Them A Try. I Used Them On A Guitar I Thought Was A Boat Anchor.....Now She Plays Like A Piano. Very Different Strings Than Most.

    Exceptional strings

    The D'Addario NB1253 strings have a great sound right off the bat on my 1923 018 Martin guitar. They sound great right off the back...not brassy with the bright new string sound I hate or dull. Great sound clarity. Really nice on my vintage guitar. They last just as long as EXP coated strings.

    Bad harmonic ring

    These have a strange harmonic ring to them when strummed the harder you strum the worse it becomes.in 40 years of playing the guitar I've never experienced it but I've never used these nickel strings either on an acoustic. I believe maybe the nickel coating is only good for electric guitars just my opinion
