    Historical drama at it's best

    I'm a Downton Abbey fan who often binge watches the series I can't get enough of it. If you enjoy historical programs with great drama and subtle comedy this is for you. Follow the the Earl of Grantham's family and their downstairs servants from 1912 through 1925 through highs and lows...deaths, weddings, marriages, births, wrongly accused arrests and prison, love affairs and snipping between two of Lord Grantham's daughters, Watch the times change for women as Lord Grantham grabbles with traditions changing with the times...clothing, haircuts, driving, acceptance of women working outside of the home hand and having power in the workplace. Issues such as birth control, abortion, and mixed racial relationships are explored The attire is breathtaking. The Downton Abbey castle is its own ...

    The stories, the characters, the acting, the sets, all of it just pulls you in. Hard to limit yourself to just one episode at a sitting LOL. Makes me wish I had watched Upstairs Downstairs when it aired years ago.
