    Graded German Reader: Erste Stufe

    This is a reprint of Professor Leopold's 1957 version of Hagbold's 1933 series of Graded Readers. The first five books of the original series are ALL included in this book, these have been updated to more reflect Germany today. The questions have been updated. This is a very PAINLESS way of improving your German reading abilities and increase your vocabulary. The series starts off with many cognates, in such a manner that someone who doesn't speak any German can almost read it. The books proceed very slowly at incriments that are barely noticable. The first two books of the series are almost completely written in the present tense. The last three of the fist series use past tense and particilpes. The first three in the intermediate level (which is not included in this book) use weak and ...
