    Versatile but some hiss with Rode Reporter mic, cleaner with batt powered XLR mics

    I use DR 10X with Reporter mic and Sennh MKE600. Have to use Audacity software to clean up Reporter hiss since it relies on 10X AAA battery. Nake sure to update firmware online to get 24 bit/48khz and other menu features.

    Perfect for so many things... no cables ...

    Perfect for so many things... no cables needed for recording. I could have used these so many times in the past and it would have saved me hours and hours of laying cable and time for break down afterwards. I think a simple XLR Y cable will allow getting the signal to both this recorder -and- and another device such as an amp or a sound board, etc.. Thanks to "afterthetonelic" for the great deal.
