    The Standard

    Intermatic is the "Standard" for mechanical timers. It's well built and will run for years. I have two. One is for the pool and the other is for the pool heater. I decided to replace the Heater timer so that both timers would be the same model. But, I didn't really need to. The old heater timer was still working fine. Larry

    Works but not new as advertised

    The item was advertised as new with less than good packaging (which is fine) but, the item had been modified, the top of the back plate had been cut off so, it would not snap in to my timer box like it should; however, I was able to figure out a way to retain it in the box and it is working satisfactorily. Even though it may have been new, it should have been disclosed that it had been modified.
