    Prime-Line U 10539 2-1/8 in. Double Bore Stainless Steel Door Reinforcer

    I use these for all my doors to reinforce the door itself and to minimize kick in, prying, and splitting the door itself at the knob/locks area, but you have to use the heavy duty striker plate in conjuncture with this to make it stronger when used together. Also use 3" screws for the striker plate into the door frame and studs. Use 1 1/2" or 2" screws for this door reinforcer at the knob and deadbolt plate. And I think it makes the door look cool with the brush stainless.

    This seems like it would hold up against a kick-in, but I hope I don't find out. Make sure you reinforce the jamb side as well.
