The unit was packed very well with bubble wrap inside a bag inside a box. This purchase saved us significant money over having to buy an entire new vacuum. Shipping cost was a bit high but that often seems to be the case with bulkier items. Overall, a great experience. I’m guessing that they get open box items for pennies on the dollar and sell the components without checking them.
