Quality pump.
This vacuum pump works! With the TrueTechTools Rapid Evac (TM) Kit with Fittings, Core Tools and Case, it was easy hook-up and wonderful results. This is my first time using a vacuum pump, so I can not compare to others for noise or even rate, but it does what I needed. Simple to use, and the manufactures web site had all the FAQ's needed to answer my questions.

I have been doing high vacuum distillation for more than 30 years using this product. you could spend thousands on similar product from science vendors? It works well providing one uses a dry ice acetone trap between distillation and pump.
