Who was the "Out of Towner,"? The only family member who would cooperate with her was Kilgallens younger son, and that was because he was so small when she died that he wanted to know more about his mother. Kilgallens father, sisters and other children were still alive at the writing of this book, but declined to participate. Dorothy Kilgallen was known for her appearances on Whats My Line? television show and for a series of newspaper columns, investigating the JFK assassination.
