        Mid grade quality, performs great!

        I wanted this so bad, but was worried by some reviews I saw. I went ahead and got it anyway and I'm glad I did. The only real complaints I have about it are: The blades on the dicer/slicer are very thin and flexible, they are also "individual", and on the parts where the different blades intersect, food can get stuck, making it hard, but not impossible to clean. At the moment, I'm not sure if this is dishwasher safe, but I have not put it in the dishwasher. I always clean it by hand because this seems like the same kind of plastic that will get cloudy or distorted with high heat. The blades haven't rusted, nothing has broken on it yet, and I have used every feature a few times so far. I would recommend this to anyone who chops up a lot of fruit or veggies on a daily basis.         Works perfectly!

        I bought this to replace another slicer I had that broke. I use it every day, and I like how it works. My complaints are two fold: 1) There are only two choices for dicing, which is pretty much the only thing I need this for. The previous chopper I had supplied four choices, from large to medium to small/smaller. 2) There is no cleaning tool to get between the prongs on the upper plastic lid. My previous chopper had this, and I used it every time, but it does not align w/ the prongs on this one so I end up using a toothpick, which always breaks and is not nearly as efficient. If I had paid closer attention when I ordered this, I would have looked for a chopper that had both of these features. However, I am very satisfied w/ the chopping I have done w/ this model.

        One second slicer

        Seems to do what it says. I use it a few times a week. Kinda basic chops & slices & has storage lid. Lid is heavy wants to fall back, raising the front of the container up during loading. Other than that as described.

        Not very safe

        This would be a great slicer if the handle thats suppose to hold what your slicing would actually hold on. I was slicing a potato with it and when I got a little over half way thru, the potato stopped and the handle turned off of it sending my finger right across the blade. 2 days later, my mom was slicing a tomato and it did the exact same thing to her, and gashed her finger in the same way it did mine.

        Small But Mighty

        I really like this chopper. the only thing preventing the fifth star is the size. I wish it were maybe a half inch or so bigger on each side. Allowing for less trimming of onions and such before chopping.
