    good product for someone needing only 8GB and older technology

    The summary says it all. I have an older desktop PC and needed a small capacity thumb drive. Since this drive supports USB 2.0, I knew it was a bit older technology as the newer ones support USB 3.0. I needed the 2.0 and this met my needs nicely.

    Dead on Arrival

    DOA. This drive never worked. It brings up a message in windows saying that it malfunctioned every time it is plugged in, and it doesn't work on macOS either. I looked in disk utility and windows partition manager (on 4 different computers) but the drive has never worked. The only sign of life is a slow-blinking LED. Would NOT buy again. I've never had a problem with flash drives in the past.

    Cruzer Fit

    These are the perfect companion for a modern car head unit with a USB port. I can load a huge collection of music, that rarely needs changing, in no time at all via the USB 3.0 model, and its ultra-low profile means not breaking the USB port or snapping it off with an errant swinging hand while it's plugged in. I would highly recommend this jump drive for this music transporting purpose alone. The only advice I would suggest for this is that: if you are only going to use this for music, save your money by not buying more storage space than you realistically need; 8-16 GB of music (MPEG-3) can be a lot of music hours.

    SanDisk USB 16GB USB 3.0 Pen Drive

    Nice design with retractable contact head. By no means one of the fastest usb 3.0 pen drives but decent and good value for the price. I use it with my oldish desktop with readyboost and it does help. It is also faster than another brand usb 3.0 pen drive I bought about two years before.
