    Vintage MTH Aluminum passenger cars

    These cars are made of aluminum and not the more modern use of plastic. They have a heavy feel and are quite sturdy. The trucks and wheels, (high rail), are very realistic and are nicely cast. The cars are fully lit and there are silhouetted passenger figures, on acetates, displayed on both sides of the windows. Although a bit smaller than scale, e.g., 60' cars, and there aren't any diaphragms on either end of the cars, they still look terrific behind a scale engine. I very much like the overall appearance of these cars, and the heft and feel of the metallic structure is an added attraction. As with all MTH products, I can highly recommend these passenger cars, especially for a train enthusiast interested in vintage products.
