Lionel PowerMaster base unit
The 6-12867 Lionel PowerMaster base unit is a really good idea from Lionel for all model 0 Gauge trains. Along with the remote control unit, you can operate any o gauge model train including other brands on the track regardless of whether they are command control or traditional/conventional operation. I enjoy using the PowerMaster & CAB-1 remote to operate my model trains.

Great product from Lionel. Introduced back on the 90's. This Lionel PowerMaster base, along with the Lionel CAB-1 remote control, is able to control/operate any 0 Gauge model train. It is real simple to connect & use. You can operate your model train engine with the remote control and not need to use the transformer controls & functions. I use it with my train and really enjoy the freedom of remote control away from the transformer. I recommend the PowerMaster. Using it will enhance your enjoyment of running your trains.
