A Classic that can't be improved upon
We've used Golden Fleece since I was a child and it was the best product for scouring pans and ovens to remove really gucky, burnt-on stuff. Used with a good scouring powder, it really cleans and shines stainless steel housewares and sinks. Then, our only alternative was SOS pads which often made a disaster of the pans and was neither very durable nor economical as well as murder on the hands. 'Hate to see the Golden Fleece slowly vanishing from store shelves as it's a great product. True, we don't use it as much as before--what with microwave cooking vessels and teflon coated pans that would be scratched if scrubbed with GF, but you can't beat it for the tough stuff. Chore Boy Scour Pads
Since I was a child my Mother would bring these home to use on our stainless, cast iron and aluminum pots and pans. I use them now in my kitchen, and both my Mother (83) and Grandmother (100) still use them also. eBay provides shopping ability to purchase in bulk that is so very important and provides huge savings. Great product, great store.

This is one of those product with which I grew up; my mother always had one near the sink. Golden Fleece has its uses although it is not the only scrubbing type cloth which I use these days. I learned from my daughter that I need to have more than one style in the basket at the sink. Still, it is a staple in our house and in my sister's for hand-washing dishes and such. Out of the box it can be a little stiff and harsh but as it wears it has different functions. I always keep a newer and worn one in that basket at the sink. Light weight with powerful scrubbing features
Chore Boy golden fleece is a great product. It is a powerful scrubber but yet gentle on your most delicate dish wear and it does not leave scratches. What I like the best is it's longevity, and able to bleach it when it gets too soiled. I just wished the stores near me still carried it.
