Really keeps things tidy in the engine bay. Looks and fits great. Oem replacement. If yours is gone you really should get one for the sole purpose of protection. Looks great too.

Check your battery size!
The Original battery in a 2005 (and I think 2006) is a Group 40 battery. If your battery has been replaced, it may have been replaced with a Group 96, which is about 1 1/2" shorter in width, but is listed by most retailers as a "Direct Replacement". The correct Battery Heat Shield Cover for a Mustang with a Group 40 Battery is 4R3T-10A687-A.
