It was just used to clean up rust on the threads that weren't bad. It left the tap cutter inside the port on the threads. Extremely cheap quality but did work once...sort of. It caused me to remove the exhaust to get all the shavings from the tap disintegrating off the top of the catalytic converter. I don't recommend.
