    Better than Reality TV

    My only complaint is the season is short, with only 9 episodes. This show is a great concept and a fresh change from ‘reality TV’. It’s fascinating to watch how the producers and team pull off the hoax. If you’re a fan of ‘behind the scenes’, hidden camera, or hoax’s this show is a must see. I recommend getting Season 1 first, then season 2, as the concept of the hoax changes a bit in season 2. Both seasons together is a hilarious binge watch you’ll love.

    MOST LAUGHS FOR THE MONEY YOU CAN BUY! SERIOUSLY!

    Joe Schmo 2 is the BEST $10 I ever spent and after watching it, would have spent $40 if I had to. I personally love both 1 and 2. It is quite possible that someone who did not like JS1 would love JS2. They are completely different like apples and oranges. I have had JS1 for a while and love it. I realized that JS2 was available and had to get it. I had seen a few episodes when they originally aired but I think few people saw the whole thing beginning to end on Spike as they kind of bailed on it. I CAN'T REMEMBER WHEN I LAUGHED SO HARD before. I think the last time I laughed this hard was when I first saw Porky's in the theater and laughed so hard during the shower scene and subsequent suspect description scene in the principles office that my wallet fell out.     VERY Funny show! You have to see this! You'll love it

    If you liked The Truman Show movie, in which Jim Carey's life (as Truman) is a staged reality show you'll LOVE this television series because it's real and not a movie. These two poor people think they're on a reality show when, in fact, they are being duped by a whole cast of actors playing all kinds of strange characters in very funny circumstances (competitions, fights, emotional entanglements etc.) The two "Joe Schmos" buy into all this craziness with both their hearts and souls and fight to come out "winners". It's devilish pleasure at its best. Enjoy!

    Lovin' to Spoof

    I watched this years ago. Had to have it. It show all the cliches that are on EVERY stupid reality show that you can watch to this day. Also live seeing a couple of actors that are now more famous in earlier days.

    Good but underwhelmed.

    I enjoyed the show when it was on TV and again being able to watch it over again without having to wait until next week for the next episode. What I didn't like is that there were no DVD extras. No deleted or behind the scenes, no interviews or charater developements, no bloopers. Still very good but not what you come to expect when you buy the DVD of a show you like.
