This laser/light combo works well. It was easy to mount and was rock solid. With a minor tweak to the windage an elevation I was driving tacks. The green light is very bright. The only drawback was the battery life. It was completely dead after a two hour shooting session. All in all, a good light, but take extra batteries..it gobbles them up.

This laser / flashlight combo is very light weight and mounts under the barrel of my Sig. I really like the on/off switches. They are located perfectly in front of the trigger guard. It works great except for fastening to the gun rail. For some reason, during rapid fire scenarios, it falls off. I have tightened it several times, but it comes loose.

Looked and compared many different types & manufacturers before deciding on this one. Had good ratings. It fits into my budget, and needs. Easy to install, and use. Plus Laser Max offers a nice warranty on this product. Do your research first, then decide which is Best for your application, and needs. Need to dial this in at the range. Peace, Health, & blessings to all.

I did a lot of research before purchasing this particular light & laser and after actually using it at the range on two occasions totaling over 400 rounds, am firmly convinced that I bought the right one! It is attached to an 1911 and is a pleasure to use. The green pulsating laser is easy to spot even in daylight and doubly so in low light conditions. It’s green LED flashlight is a bonus should you ever need to identify a target in low light or total darkness. It is small and very light weight while the laser and light switches can be activated with one finger of either hand and readily availably at the front of your trigger guard without having to visibly look at them. It’s power source being one AAA battery was a great idea and while easy enough to remove an old battery and install new one, the two rail mounting screws must be removed to open the battery compartment. In so doing it is most likely going to alter the original position of your laser/light on your rail. This is the only drawback I have found with this unit The next time I replace the battery I am going to try marking it’s rail position with masking tape before removing the two screws in hope it can be remounted to rail without having to re-zero it’s laser. The mounting system works great and keeps unit tight and secure on your rail. I am extremely happy with this LaserMax SPS-C-G Spartan and recommend it highly! Perhaps in the future LaserMax will come up with a better way to open the batter compartment .... however, unless and until they do, I still consider it to be perhaps the best on the market at this time.Read full review

A great addition to my Sig P320. I wanted a green laser for my 9mm. The LaserMax Spartan SPS-C-G Spartan also included a light. It fit well on my Sig FDE Compact small grip module rail. It protrudes slightly past the slide but not the muzzle as I have the threaded barrel model. As the photos show it is slightly wider than the slide. The control paddles are in the perfect spot, no looking or hunting needed to activate the light and laser in their different modes. The included hardware and tools firmly attached this device to the firearm. It was easy to zero the laser and it stays zeroed. AAA battery power is a big plus. I do not carry this pistol so I cannot speak to finding a holster. The mint green light is great for close in target identification, without ruining your night vision. The green laser is visible day and night way beyond the flashlights range. This unit fits great, works great and looks great.Read full review
