I am pretty sure the size is correct in term of mm. If you want big pearls, you will need to go for Edison Pearls still they will look small in the world of pearls. They are in mm and looking at them long enough, they can perceive to be really big. To me 8mm is really big because they are used for jewelry and big pearls can be heavy.
