    Flexcut Starter Knife Set KN500 is VERY USEFUL in wood carving projects

    I have used this KN500 knife set now for awhile, and it cuts and details basswood very well. It is also easy to sharpen the knives. Just be sure to keep them FLAT on the strop you're using as you pull it down the strop. It takes only 4 to 5 passes on a strop to keep the knife razor sharp. I sharpen them after I'm done using them. I also wear one glove on my left hand, and a thumb guard on my right thumb. This protects me from any serious cuts, which I have had before I started wearing these. I highly recommend Flexcut's KN500!

    O.K. Not as good as my other Flex cut tools.

    They don't hold an edge as well as my knives I make from jigsaw blades. They cut good as long as they are sharp.

    Flexcut Knife Set

    Arrived promptly/ Knives sharp, needed only a few strokes with the supplied compound on a rough leather strop. Handles well shaped and comfortable. RC61 hardness ensures knives will stay sharp with only occasional stropping. Ordered the micro palm set to complement the knives and mid size chisels I already have as I only intend to work on carvings I can hold in my lap.

    WHAT THE EXPERTS USE.... WICKED SHARP!

    as a disappointed craft knife user since my first exacto this is perfect. buy the strop to keep them 5razor shar[p. IMHO the Flexcut knives are the best and perfect carving tools. my favorite uncle carved decoys and birds in the 70s. even with the finest set of xacto tools they were never god enough. and could never be properly sharpened. whethr the tool steel or blade gemotery nothing works as good as FLEXCUT. effertless precise shaving. cut my gun leather project faster and safer than leather tools. makikes modeling a cinch. they are razor sharp so i won't carve in bare feet. Coupleled with JOOLTOOL sharing system perfect gifts afor every craftyer who needs sharp tools. AAA+++ always use them now...

    Good knives at a good price

    Easy to use & easy to sharpen; in fact a leather strop is all you need to keep them razor sharp. Easy on the hands (I have arthritis) and easy to control, Quality knifes at a fair price. Almost as good as my Harley Refsal knife. The detail knife is great for eyes and facial components, it could be a little smaller.
