Overall, an effective evap unit.
This unit is used to cool the kitchen area and the lounge area. Pro: Creates a strong breeze (adjustable), and works within expected decibels. Like the oscillating feature and tilt adjustable design. Got it with a discount. Con: Each castor (for mobility) has two wheels. One of the outer wheels fell out. But I managed to plug it back. Imho, the quality of castor wheels is sus. It works well as it’s supposed to be, if you don’t expect it to be as cool as an air conditioner, because it is not. It works by giving you wind a bit cooler than surrounding air. The 8L tank gives you suffice water to last throughout the night. The timer allows you to fall asleep comfortably without worries to turn it off in the middle of the night. It’s tall enough to deliver wind over the surface of your bed. I think most evaporative cooler fans will have some noise.
