The four molded front drawers below the fall front writing surface with gilt Chippendale bronze rococo handles and matching ormolu escutcheons. When opened the writing surface measures width 111cm and depth 58cm. Inside there is a central panel door that opens with a key and reveals two internal drawers. A full width drawer below is flanked by two pidgeon hole letter scroll compartments above with two arched shaped front drawers above.Three drawers flank these central compartments.Fabulous original patina finish makes this a very rare and desirable piece.English circa 1780”
