    A real disappointment.

    This album is produced from an American radio broadcast . It looks like it should be good with great musicians throughout. It is however pretty awful. The track selection looked pretty good and I was looking forward to hearing both Linda Ronstadt and Jackson Browne with the Eagles. What a potentially great line up! The performances are in fact just so- so but it’s the production that is terrible. There’s an out of tune piano which really grates - for instance you can’t miss it on Desperado- and it’s way too prominent in the mix. The overall sound quality is pretty desperate from beginning to end. It is thin, tinny and sometimes booms. It sounds like it was recorded on a cheap portable cassette machine. All in all it’s one to avoid.

    Baby, you're no good.

    On several of the songs, the left channel has an off/on defect which sounds really bad. Surprised they released it that way. The other later CD release has the same exact defect.
