It is designed with four ports, ADSL 2/2+ capabilities, and wireless communication at 802.11b data rates up to 11 Mbps and 802.11g up to 54 Mbps. Its security includes a parental and network access control and a multilevel security firewall. This Actiontec Qwest modem (GE083AD4-08) also has 32MB flash and 54MB SDRAM to handle your Internet access needs.

    Replaced router

    Purchased to replace my Actiontec PK5000 that stopped working. It was easy to setup with my user information. My internet speed seems to have improved some so my previous router was probably due to be replaced. We are getting fiber in our neighborhood soon so didn't want to spend a lot of money on a replacement that I may not need for much longer so this fit the bill just fine.

    Great value and good service

    This router is what I was looking for. Signal strength has been consistently good all throughout my home. This was a gopd vale for the price. I was only dissapointed with the quality while streeming video, but that is more a function of my overall internet speed and not the router. Once I connected it directly to my smart T.V the problem was solved. Multiple ports allow for easy connection to multiple feeds.

    It will save me $9.99 a month all for a $20.00 investment. I have 2 desktops plus iPad , iPhone and 2 TV's all connected to the Internet at different times usually. Works great. Shipping was fast and arrived before expected date.

    Excellent router for the price I paid - way below retail!

    To write a review so soon after purchasing the router seems disingenius. The router was purchased for my in-laws to upgrade their DSL speed. I am not familiar with DSL so cannot give a fair response on whether it is performing at the speed it should be. It seems to be doing exactly what it is suppose to do and they seem happy. It was easy to connect/set up. This was the router I was looking for based on feedback from their internet provider.
