Not cheap but effective
Devcon is never cheap and this is not exception. If you have used devcon before this is typical of the type, if you haven't devcon is a professional quality metal replacement. Its us made in various types and used comprehensively in heavy industry to form permanent repairs which are very hard and can be subject to heavy loading. I used it for a hidden repair on a float chamber of a carburetor. Its very easy to apply but wear protective glovesDevcon is never cheap and this is not exception. Brilliant but Expensive
Have used various types of Devcon for years. It is nothing short of amazingly brilliant. After following instructions it has never failed on any applications used. Expensive - yes but you get what you pay for. You can repair metal objects that normally would be beyond repair and only fit for scrap. Highly recommended.

Shaft repair
Repaired mower shaft badly chewed by seized bearing. Enough quantity of an excellent product for job. Using battery drill as makeshift lathe, shaft rebuilt and old MTB is back to work.
