    Not as intuitive as the J5 - some odd features too

    Bought this to replace a J5 as the internal memory was only 16GB and this one double. It feels heavier but is nice to look at. The screen definition is excellent. It's not as easy to set up as previous Samsungs. E.g. more complicated to download external ringtones and almost impossible to find them on the phone. Missing some features in email like side swipe to delete emails. Also the big change is that you cannot remove the back to get to the battery so if it fails, it needs to be taken to their shop to replace. Also, the sim card and internal memory card are accessed from the side and top of the phone using a glorified pin. You daren't lose this as I tried to open these 'drawers' with an unravelled paper clip and it wouldn't work.

    Samsung Galaxy A5 2017 👍

    I bought this to replace a Galaxy S6 edge, as I couldn't get on with the 'edge screen'. I did consider an S7, but couldn't justify the hefty price tag, for what is essentially, the same phone. I also wanted the option to expand the storage, and this fit the bill with its Micro SD card reader. With a 5.5" screen, 16mp main camera, USB-C charging port, and 3000mah battery, it is as good as any phone in the same price range. Build quality is excellent, classy and stylish. In fact, the only distinguishable difference between the A5 and the S7, is that the A5 doesn't have a LED status light. And the Camera doesn't have image stabilisation. And though you can record slow motion video, on the A5 you can only do it at 30fps. Whereas on the S7, you can record SlowMo at 60fps, which gives a ...

    Windows to Android

    I loved my Nokia windows phone, but had to change due to the lack of available apps. After much searching, finally settled on this Samsung A5 (2017 and have found it a pleasure to use. It's been far easier to set up than I imagined (only a couple of errors on my part - mostly confused passwords!) I don't need all the fancy gimmicks on the more expensive phones, this has all I need with fingerprint security as well. I would recommend this phone to anyone who needs a decent Android phone - it does all I can ever imagine needing, has a decent screen and takes a good photo.

    Excellent Smart Phone
